DESCRIPTION:‘Sweet Bird’: ‘Sweet Bird’: Musical Delights from the Georgian Era\n \nJoin soloists from Instruments of Time & Truth for a musical cornucopia drawn from early Georgian times. The musical feast will be bookended with music by Henry Purcell and G. F. Handel. ‘Sweet Bird’ refers to the aria of that name in Handel’s pastorale ode L’Allegro\, il Penseroso ed il Moderato which features alongside works by Daniel Purcell\, Francesco Geminiani\, John Eccles\, John Weldon\, William Croft\, J. C. Pepusch\, and Jeremiah Clarke. \nMusicians: \nInstruments of Time & Truth \nProgramme: \nFull programme will be available shortly \nThe programme will last approximately 70 minutes. There will be a 20 minute interval.\nDoors open at 6.00pm.\nDrinks (alcoholic and soft) will be available.\n  \nThe programme may be subject to change.
