DESCRIPTION:Live\, Love\, Laugh: String Quartets by Holst\, Beethoven\, and Mendelssohn\n \nCelebrate the beginning of Summer with an evening of music in one of the Suffolk’s most picturesque settings. Bring a picnic to enjoy before or after in the church grounds. A bar will be open from 6pm and during the interval. Brother Tree Sound String Quartet\, one of the country’s most innovative and exciting chamber groups\, will play a programme of music called ‘Live\, Love\, Laugh’ featuring quartets by Imogen Holst\, Beethoven\, Mendelssohn\, and a surprise piece about Suffolk. You’ll have to come along to hear what that is! \nMusicians: \nBrother Tree Sound String Quartet \nAnna De Bruin violin \nThea Spiers violin \nTriona Milne viola \nEve Littlefair cello \nProgramme: \nImogen Holst (1907–84) Phantasy String Quartet (1928) \nLudwig von Beethoven (1770–1827) String Quartet No. 11 in F minor Op. 95 \nINTERVAL \nFelix Mendelssohn (1809–47) String Quartet No. 2 in A minor Op. 13 \nThe programme will last approximately 70 minutes. There will be a 20 minute interval.\nDoors open at 6.00pm.\nDrinks (alcoholic and soft) will be available.\nThe programme may be subject to change.
